樂壇超級經理人Man (杜汶澤飾)為保旗下天后級歌手J(容祖兒飾)的樂壇地位，對外不惜用盡卑鄙手段，對內施以嚴密監督，使J過著籠中鳥的生活。某天J壓力終於爆煲，於現場演出時失聲。為隱瞞傳媒，J被安排暫居內地，卻因而認識盲人推拿師胡明(胡歌飾)，並於胡明身上找到歸於平淡的幸福，但Man卻極力反對。那邊廂，熱愛唱歌的Red(林欣彤飾)被Man發掘出道。隨著知名度愈來愈高，加上Man出招阻撓，她與男友阿樂(陳家樂飾)的感情因而備受考驗。究竟名利與自由、事業與愛情，和Red最後會如何快擇？
