內褲設計師春天（毛舜筠 飾）和女兒秋水（吳千語 飾）一直在由舅父 Hugo（黃百鳴 飾）建立的跨國內褲品牌王國內擔任設計師及雜務總管。Hugo 為取悅舊情人、國際知名設計師繆絲（海清 飾），詐稱公司面臨破產，希望請繆絲出山幫忙，監督一個時裝系列來渡過難關，繆絲於是以「男人如衣服」為題的女性時裝系列來刁難 Hugo。Hugo 為與繆絲復合，不惜請來前著名模特兒、身邊男朋友如雲的 Jojo（熊黛林 飾），與春天和秋水二人在設計「男人如衣服」系列較量一番，以良性競爭從而提高水準，勝方更可以擔任新系列的話事人。就在春天和秋水苦無對策之際，秋水遇上臨時演員阿費（鄭中基 飾）。阿費決定以低廉費用，用生活臨時演員的經驗與技能，令春天明白甚麼是視「男人如衣服」的生活態度。合作其間，更令阿費與秋水擦出感情，但春天卻想棒打鴛鴦... 阿費為令春天和秋水扭轉劣勢，更出動表弟、前時裝攝影師 Owen（林? 飾）來協助，但原來 Owen 與敵方的 Jojo 曾有一段小小的誤會... 究竟最後誰人最了解「男人如衣服」的背後真諦，嬴得新系列的話事權 ? 阿費又能否打動春天，讓他與秋水有情人終成眷屬 ?
